FAQ

What Does A Chemical Peel Do?
This peel is designed to target deeper skin conditions and issues. High grade ingredients such as salicylic acid, TCA and lactic acid as well as addition of glutathione are used to directly target acne, melasma, sun damage, fine lines, texture, roughness, large pores, and dullness.

Face will appear red and may feel sensitive after procedure with peeling beginning about 2 days post procedure and lasting about 5-7 days.

It is extremely important that you do not pick the peeling skin off before it is ready and you should let the skin fall off itself to reduce risk of scarring.

Microneedling is a procedure that aids in the generation of new collagen. This treatment helps skin tone, increases firmness and overall smoothness of the skin as well as helping with fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scars.

You will first be topically numbed with a numbing cream and then a device is used with tiny needles attached to end. These tiny needles create micro-channels in the skin which signals your body to produce collagen.

Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) which is a complex Fibrin Matrix rich in Platelets, Leukocytes and Mesenchymal stem cells. For 10-12 days this results in the constant release of Growth factors and interleukins which accelerate tissue healing and regenerating processes. PRF may be used for hair restoration, dark circles acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, tear troughs, brown spots on face, neck or décolleté and for volume loss.

*It is highly recommended to hydrate properly for 72 hours prior to procedure to ensure we are able to collect a blood specimen.

Results will be visible after about 6 weeks and more notable results visible after 4-6 months.
Results are long-lasting and continue to improve over time
For micro-needling with PRF, recovery lasts from 1-2 days with reddened skin and minor peeling.

A PDO Thread Lift is a treatment that lifts and tightens sagging skin tissues using threads made of polydioxanone. The lifting thread is introduced deep into the layer of the skin and produces three effects:

  • Instant skin lifting through mechanical effects,
  • Cellular renewal through collagen stimulation and neovascularization to improve texture, fine lines, and wrinkles.
  • Skin tightening by approximating tissues.

Threads disappear through hydrolysis after six months. The lifted facial contours can remain for up to two years due to cellular rejuvenation effects.

PDO threads work best in the face and neck areas.
Numbing cream is applied to desired treatment area and then threads are strategically placed under the skin where the inserted threads will grab on to the skin to help reposition without the need for any incisions or cuts, requiring only an injection site.
The procedure time varies depending on treatment are, but usually anywhere from 1-2 hours and after the procedure you may resume daily activities with no downtime.
Swelling, bruising and redness may occur, but these typically resolve rather quickly.
